Nicole Kidman shares the secret to strong relationships with her husband Keith Urban
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are undoubtedly one of Hollywood's most solid couples. The Oscar-winning actress and country singer met in 2005 and tied the knot a year later. Today, they are raising two daughters - 15-year-old Sunday Rose and 12-year-old Faith Margaret - and recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. Of course, in such a long-lasting marriage, there are secrets and traditions that help keep the relationship afloat. And just the other day, Nicole shared one of them on the Something To Talk About podcast.
The 56-year-old star revealed that she and her husband only talk on the phone - no long text conversations or voice messages.
"We never write to each other, can you believe that? It's been like this since the beginning of our relationship - I said, 'If you want to reach me, give me a call,'" the actress shared. "I've never been a fan of texting. It seems like he tried to write to me at some point, but I never replied. I chat with everyone else via text, but with him - never. That's our only rule."
The pair promotes many charitable causes together and often attends events to show their continued support for important initiatives. They have used their celebrity status to raise funds and awareness for a variety of causes such as education, health, and the environment. Their dedication to helping others is an example of true commitment to making a difference in the world.
