Jennifer Lopez posed in a swimsuit for Vogue cover
American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has appeared on the cover of the July issue of the Mexican version of Vogue magazine. This was reported on the publication's website.
For the cover, 53-year-old Jennifer Lopez posed in a black swimsuit and rugged boots. For the interior photo shoot, the star tried on outfits from the latest collections of leading fashion houses, including a transparent dress from Giorgio Armani, a tweed suit consisting of a jacket and a mini skirt from Chanel, and a red mini dress from Dolce & Gabbana. Jay Lo's look was complemented by diamond jewelry from Chopard, Dior, Tiffany & Co, Bvlgari, and Messika. The shoot took place in a studio in Los Angeles, and the famous Canadian photographer Norman Jean Roy was the author of the photo shoot.
In an interview with the publication, Jennifer Lopez talked about her childhood in the Bronx, her relationship with her parents, and her early roles. In particular, the actress recalled her first major role in the 1997 film "Selena". According to the star, she hoped that the role would bring her a brilliant career, but instead, she was offered to play only "typical Latin Americans".
"At first, I thought I was getting these roles because I needed an accent. And I just wanted to play a 'girl,' not necessarily a Latin American: you know, I wasn't even interested in knowing the character's last name or first name," Lopez shared.
