Google has taught the iPhone to search for clothing and other items on the internet using photos. The app now includes built-in support for Google Lens, improved translations, and a new type of Google Maps mini-map.

With Google Lens integrated into Chrome on iOS, users can now search for objects using their smartphone camera. This feature can be accessed directly from the browser, which simplifies search for plants, clothing, and other items.

Previously, this required a separate Google app, but this functionality is now available right within Chrome.

Moreover, the improved support for translation lets users translate highlighted text fragments on pages, not just whole pages, which is beneficial for multilingual websites.

It's worth noting that all these features are already available to Chrome users on iOS.
