We have great news for those of you out there who love to carry your iPad or iPhone out in style. Gucci, as part of its new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, has released silicone iPad 2 and iPhone 4 cases. These bad boys feature the classic GG all-over pattern in a few solid colors: red, green, and black. Now, this is Gucci, so of course prices are abnormally high. The iPad case will set you back a whopping 160 USD and the iPhone case 90 USD. The question is, are you insane enough to splurge that kind of doe on a rubber case from a brand like Gucci? [via]

The hot clothing brand from New York, Married To The MOB is back with their Holiday 2011 Lookbook. The founder and designer of the company has once again decided to use the services of its fine-ass sister. The NY brand is mostly known for its simple style of bold slogan t-shirts, but this new collection adds all-over print leggings and fleece pieces. The fact that this shoot was taken in a black apartment gives the collection an edge. If you are interesting in coppin’ some gear for your girlfriend (you know, late Christmas gift) head over to the MOB online store.

Steampunk heels equipped with gears, tubes and LED lights

Posted: December 9th, 2011 | Author: Charles West | Filed under: Shoes | Tags: , , , , , | No Comments »

These Steampunk heels have to be one of the most impressive lady shoes I’ve ever seen. The heels are battery powered and come with a switch on the side to turn them on and off (yes, you heard right). What’s even sweeter, a consumer (assuming a woman) gets to pick the color of the LED light they prefer to light up their heels. The Gold wires on the sides add detail while funneling power throughout the shoe. The vacuum tubes on each heel glow from underneath mounted to a solid copper elbow, copper piping adorns each side of the heel adding an industrial feel. Sick.

The seller offers some pretty clear instructions to ensure top-notch quality and customer service:

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, due to the differences in gears and parts, each shoe will be slightly different from one another and each pair will be Unique. The heel you get may Differ (chunky vs Stiletto) then the one pictured I will provide pictures of each shoe BEFORE it is shipped to make sure you will like them

So the seller HotAirBallonRide will construct the heels for you, then they’ll let you see them before you sign off on a purchase. Not bad, right? All heels take 2 to 4 weeks to make, price will set you back a whopping $275. Honestly, the price is fitting considering these are hand crafted for you. These aren’t heels you can just pick up at a local Macy’s or some shoe store. Hey, $275 should be nothing if you’re trying to be a trendsetter. Checkout our gallery for more pics!

Great news for you Ronnie Fieg lovers out there, the designer has teamed up for a second time with Chippewa releasing The Origin Collection. The collection comes in three different premium leather presentations, which includes soft leather linings and Vibram outersoles, all handmade in the US. If you know anything about Ronnie Fieg then you’ll know how his merchandise is a little different from everything else out on the market. I don’t know about you but I like to separate myself from the rest of the herd, coppin’ some dope boots like this can do that.

Act quickly because there’s limited numbers of the boots, hit up KITH stores in NYC when this bad boys release this weekend. If you can’t get them this weekend, feel free to drool over some pics in the gallery below. Source

Freehands releases its new 2011 touchscreen-friendly gloves

Posted: November 17th, 2011 | Author: Charles West | Filed under: Design, Gloves, Mobile | No Comments »

For many of us who live on the east coast getting ready for old man Winter to rear his ugly face is standard practice around this time of the year. Obviously, having the proper Winter gear is necessary, but having smart Winter gear is a plus. Freehands has delivered its latest collection of touchscreen-friendly gloves, just in time for the holidays. The 2011 collection carries a handful of styles featuring new materials and upgraded tech with the same touch screen friendly design, which introduces two new knits and a redesign of the top selling soft shell. These are really cool gloves that features a foldable tip on the thumb and forefinger, I’m definitely thinking about picking up a pair of the Soft Shell or the Five-finger Power Stretch ones on their site.

If you want to cop a pair, prices range between $18 for the simple knit to $75 for the leather collection. For more details and to see the entire line head to Freehands online. Check out a few pairs in our gallery below.

Joakim Noah Pro Model 2.0 Has Both a Tennis and Basketball Look

Posted: June 6th, 2011 | Author: Charles West | Filed under: Sneakers | Tags: , , , , , | No Comments »

In perhaps paying homage to his pops, Joakim Noah drops his Le Coq Sportif Pro Model 2.0. These sneakers utilizes technology from a 182 tennis shoe that led Yannick (Joakim’s father) to his French Open win. The shoes as originally described has ‘Spécial Bondissant’ (energy return) and a innovative air system called ‘AEROTOP’ that’s suppose to be perfect for slam dunks.

As a Bulls fan, I watched Joakim rock these throughout the 2010-2011 playoffs, and now the public will be able to buy these in all three Chicago Bulls colors. Bulls fans, snatch up your pair today.
