Lenovo has an upgrade to its popular Lenovo Enhanced Multimedia Remote with Keyboard. This new version adds lots of fun features like the control of your PC, Xbox, PS3, Wii and whatever else that is Bluetooth enabled. This thing packs some pretty decent specs, including:
- 2.4G wireless keyboard and OFN (optical finger navigation) with Slide Bar
- Pocket-sized keyboard & mouse in One hand-held device
- Ultra-small USB receiver – plug and play, no driver install
- Black-light keyboard with on/off switch to save battery life
- Up to 3 month Battery life (two AA)
- Range up to 30 feet
- Compatible with Windows 2000 ,XP, Vista & Windows 7
The Multimedia Remote has a unique form factor that meshes well with the mini keyboard. In my opinion the most interesting feature has to be a combination of the small USB reciever and Bluetooth connectivity that ranges up to 30 feet. If I had one of these bad boys I would probably hook it up to my PS3 or Xbox, as it gets pretty annoying at times when I want to navigate or type-search things.
Since the remote keyboard can hook up to a PC, then it should be able to connect to an iPad or a newer Android tablet. Right now, Lenovo has the enhanced remote on sale on its site for $47.99, which is $32 off its original price.
