Kindle Fire gets Hulu Plus and ESPN ScoreCenter added to its media lineup

Amazon today announced that its Kindle Fire will also have Hulu Plus and ESPN ScoreCenter apps added to its already impressive media lineup. This is after the company unveiled a slew of new media apps, which included Netflix, Rhapsody, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as “several thousand more apps.” This is awesome news as the Kindle maker plans to beef up its options for media-enabled apps for its hotly anticipated tablet before its launch next week.

This can’t be good for Barnes and Noble’s Nook tablet, as Amazon begins to pour it on with all the popular apps. It’s hard to believe that people’s attention of the new Nook won’t be short lived because I don’t believe it stands a chance against the Kindle Fire’s trove of media related things in its ecosystem and its cheaper price. The Kindle Fire without a doubt will be a huge success, especially with offerings like Amazon on Demand, Netflix and now Hulu Plus. Just think, competing 7-inch Android tablets to this day don’t offer Hulu Plus. Hell, I’m even considering to purchase this tab, it’s only 200 bucks. Anyone out there planning to purchase the Kindle Fire? If not, what device do you have your eyes on?
