A Mini Cooper Turned Into a High Tech Gaming Chair
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, out the blue comes another masterfully built work of art. A designer by the name of David Gawthorpe has come up with a pretty creative gaming chair design. If you’re a reader of TTH, then you shouldn’t be the least bit surprised with our appreciation of these types of works.
Remember the article NYC Artist Morphs Hummer H2 Into a “Hoover Cart”? Or how about A Ferrari Seat Morphed Into a Office Chair. Yeah, it’s safe to say we love creative dudes like David. What should be noted is, it took two years to build this chair but in the end Gawthorpe managed to create a luxurious gaming chair out of the front end of a Mini Cooper.
The chair can be tucked away under the hood and the foot pedals slide in underneath the grille.
Other cool features include: a qan Xbox 360, 500-watt amp, strobe and laser lights, a vibration pad under the seat, a mini fridge and even a remote-controlled smoke machine –damn!
The prototype was purchased by a London entrepreneur that plans to sell the chair for £8000 ($12,883) in his shop.
