For those of you who subscribe to a more greener living this should put a pretty big cool-aid smile on your face to see such a gas guzzling SUV gutted out, re-arranged and welded together into a horse carriage. The New York artist behind all of this goes by the name Jeremy Dean. This project of his was inspired by the Great Depression, at a time when people could no longer afford gas for their vehicles and hitched them to horses, creating “Hoover Carts.”

I think his reason or inspiration behind creating such a project is dope in itself because it has a historical meaning to it that can educate. Don’t get me wrong it’s cool when artists come up with innovative designs or art but to me if the cause behind it is meaningless or inept it loses it’s luster.
Enjoy a couple of pics of the original Hoover Carts

Just think this guy said on the Dylan Ratigan Show his next project is going to be a Cadillac Escalade! That should be a real treat and I can’t wait to see it, so stay tuned.
