Remember The Hyperdunk Kobe Aston Martin Kix?

Posted: February 24th, 2010 | Author: Charles West | Filed under: Fashion, Quiet as kept | Tags: , , , | No Comments »

Remember these? It’s amazing it’s been almost 2 years sense Kobe jumped over that speeding Aston Martin on the roof top in efforts to promote the Nike and Kobe Hyperdunk Aston Martin Edition Sneakers. Then, they seemingly disappeared or for that matter went un-talked about now those days are heating up again because the buzz on the net is these kix are supposedly going for $550 a pop with some reporting even $700 a pop!

But these babies won’t drop until the spring and unfortunately the series will be limited to only 500 pairs at a price of $550 a pop. If your a collector or eBayer get your guap (money for the slang challenged) ready!

Heat Your Latte With A USB Powered Gas Stove Warmer

You got to love China and their breakthrough products because they don’t have all these government oversight committees when it comes to branding of products (or safety measures for that matter) examples being faulty toothpaste and toys with lead paint, I guess when your a communist country it doesn’t matter.

This gas stove warmer is interesting because it may actually work but do you trust it far as the mechanics is concerned? Because lets face it, their products aren’t the best regulated but if I had a need for something like this I would probably use it, that’s just me.

Here’s the specs:

Standard USB1.1 interface, with 1HUB computer connectors, but also can be accessed by 4.5V connected to the power supply when opening the product switch, indicator light can be used, the product temperature is kept at 60-70 degrees, using a simple, easy to carry is a good helper of everyday life. Who gave the most suitable for your use in the office. You Can adjust the temperature.

A Great Way To Stash Your Brew: All-In-One Portable Chair

How can you disagree with having a chair that has a compartment for holding gear or frosty beverages? Well you can’t or at least I would assume you wouldn’t (because hell I wouldn’t). This chair is selling for $60– I guess that isn’t too bad, but I leave you as my significant other left me pondering, how the hell do you sit down with bottles necks facing up? I would imagine that being quite uncomfortable.

Reminiscing The Chinese Slipper Phenomenon

Posted: February 18th, 2010 | Author: Charles West | Filed under: Died but won't go away | Tags: , | 1 Comment »

Don’t front, remember these? Well, for those of you out there who’ve owned a pair (regretfully), I have a question of where the hell did these come from?! I just never understood how these slippers became the style sense of the time, I mean I don’t recall ever seeing a commercial on TV of woman rocking Chinese slippers. I still hear the haunting sounds of feet scuffling down the street, with visuals of soggy white sweat socks and pajama pant bottoms (pretty standard style here in Hartford, CT at the time).

But sadly enough, these slippers are sneaky, and seem to have some weird staying power that I can’t explain, I thought these were dead but people are still rocking them and this is why they’ve made The Trendaholic’s dead but won’t go away category. So, tell me out there do you still have a pair of these and where do you hide them? Remember keep it 100. Don’t be ashamed nobody will think less of you, I promise ;-)

Call Your Peeps in Style With PUMA

How come Europe always seems to get the best innovative phones? Well, I’m not the biggest PUMA fan clothing wise but this is certainly a kick ass phone with features like internet access, messaging, GPS localization, video calling, Bluetooth photo sharing, and a built-in solar charger, excuse me a built-in solar charger? But that’s not all it has a built in spin and scratch music player and radio tuner also the built-in camera has 3.2MP resolution with LED flash, pretty nice for a designer phone, huh? (Slash Gear)
